Year 9 visit Shakespeare’s historic Globe Theatre.
To reward the students for their hard work, this week saw Year 9 students go to the Globe Theatre on the banks of the River Thames.
Built very close to where renowned playwright and poet William Shakespeare wrote and performed some of his memorable plays, the Globe is an incredible place to visit.
The students had the opportunity to tour the Globe and attended a Romeo and Juliet workshop, where they acted out scenes from the play.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the day at the world-renowned theatre, education centre, and cultural landmark.
