Heron teacher up for top UK teaching award

David Jablonka, Head of English at Heron Hall, has been nominated for a prestigious national teaching award in recognition of his outstanding work.

David is up for the 'Subject Lead of the Year ' award in the Secondary school category at the Times Education Supplement (TES) Awards.

The award acknowledges individuals who have made exceptional contributions to their field, demonstrating innovation, excellence, and passion in their teaching practices.

The TES awards are widely regarded as one of the most prestigious honours in the UK education sector, and being shortlisted is a very significant achievement.

David Jablonka's nomination reflects his commitment to the profession and the outstanding impact he has had on the students he teaches at Heron Hall.

The final ceremony will take place on 23 June, where the winners will be announced.
