Level 2 Qualifications
This is a pathway that is available for students who have not yet achieved a pass (grade 4) in enough of their GCSE qualifications to access either an A-Level programme or BTEC Level 3 Extended Vocational Programme of study.
At Heron Hall we appreciate that student's learning and academic development can occur at different times and as such, this pathway provides an opportunity for students to undertake a programme of study for one academic year which involves a range of GCSE and BTEC Level 2 courses.
Students will be able to study GCSE Maths and English and BTEC Health and Social Care and Information Technology (ICT).
Upon successful completion, students will be able to progress onto either an A-level or BTEC Level 3 Extended Vocational Programme.
