Headteacher nominated for top national award

Arthur Barzey, Headteacher of Heron Hall Academy, has been nominated for the prestigious, TES Headteacher of The Year Award for 2022.

Last year the school reached the final of the Pearson Secondary School of the Year competition.

Trust Chief Executive, Marino Charalambous, said:

"Arthur Barzey has been one of the best appointments I have made as CEO at North Star Community Trust. He believes in every child and the opportunity to succeed. He understands better than most the challenges many of Heron Hall Academy students face in their daily lives but he refuses to allow that to diminish their chances of success."
