On Monday 23 March, Heron Hall Academy becomes the 'CHAT Hub school' for keyworkers from Heron. Key workers from Cuckoo, Woodpecker, Kingfisher and Enfield Heights have a Hub School at Kingfisher. Children should ONLY attend if it is absolutely necessary and you have NO OTHER OPTIONS. If we can support any of our families please see our Helping Families web page.

Working with the trade unions

Heron Hall Academy hosted both the NASUWT and NEU (NUT) on the first day of the school year in September.  This day was a planned INSET day and staff were invited to join the unions by the CEO of the Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust.

The NEU and NASUWT had a desk in the canteen so that members could meet and discuss any items of concern or register their details with the unions.

The NEU have been contact and invited to the School again to meet with members; meeting rooms and school space are available for both unions.
