Celebrating local community history month at Heron Hall

This month we have been participating in local community history month.

The national campaign aims to celebrate and increase the awareness of local history to members of the community.

Our amazing library team has put together a brilliant display showcasing some key moments from Enfield’s history.

Did you know? Enfield can trace its roots back to the Roman times with a Roman settlement established in Bush Hill Park. Roman remains from the third century were also discovered in Churchfields, Edmonton.

The borough of Enfield has some fascinating history. Students have enjoyed learning about the history of their local community.
