Year 7 and 8 having fun and learning down on the farm

The year 7 and 8 students who are attending Jamie's Farm in Bath are really showing  the school's STRIVE values, and living those values in a completely different way to which they are used to. They have been supportive of each other, and every day give a 'shout out' to someone who has shown support or kindness towards them at dinnertime.

Working with the animals has shown tolerance and everyone of students has shown resilience through all activities, especially the long evening walks.

Team building activities and evening games has brought out their integrity, and they have been learning how important it is to have such a value.

The farm work they have been completing has shown visionary values and excellence. From feeding the animals, mucking out, hedging, wood craft and putting up a new fence in preparation for moving a flock of sheep later in the week.

Our students have shown such a caring side to them dealing with lambs, chickens, pigs, cows and not forgetting the many farm dogs, to which they have become so attached.
