Heron Hall teachers get 'pied'

Pi Day

Now a very popular and established feature of the school year, Pi day at Heron Hall, saw students compete across the day for 10 golden tickets to allow them to choose to foam pie a teacher of their choice!

Pi Day stems from the celebration of the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter which is also known as Pi.

"It was a big success. The students enjoyed the activities especially the main ‘pieing’ event. It will certainly go down as one of the best we have had in recent years." - Claudia Davis-Walters, Head of Mathematics
