Home learning set up for students following school closure

Sunday, 15 March 2020

Dear Parents & Carers,

It is with regret that we write to inform you that it is necessary to close the school on Monday 16th March for a deep clean as a precautionary measure based on the advice provided by Public Health England and their advisors.

In order to mitigate the impact of lost learning time we have made the important decision to provide students with work to be completed during their time away from school. These materials will be accessible on the Heron Hall School website through our OneDrive Cloud space. Students will be able to access all of their learning resources via this learning space. The link to these learning materials can be accessed here:

Once accessed, the link will open a folder. Students can then click on the relevant subject area and access work to complete at home. In cases where the resources are not interactive, students will complete the task set either by printing the worksheets or PowerPoint slides or answering the questions on paper or their exercise books if they have them in their possession.

We are working hard to ensure that any impact from this unexpected disruption is mitigated and we appreciate your support and patience during this difficult period. We will be reopening the school in line with government guidance and look forward to welcoming our students back in order to prepare them for their examinations and further study.

Yours Sincerely,

Mr. A. Barzey
